I feel very strongly indeed that a National Park is the only way to avoid "death by a thousand cuts" and that it must include the Western Weald, Lewes and the Ouse Valley. As Bill Bryson has said, if these areas are left out of the Park it will give developers an excuse to say "These places weren't good enough to be included so what's wrong with developing them ?"
